Adrian Lock joined Jan Medical as a member of the board of directors in June, 2016.
Mr. Lock founded Pulse Veterinary Technologies, LLC (PulseVet) in June, 2009 and serves as its CEO and as a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Lock was part of the management team which formed PulseVet out of the veterinary division of Sanuwave, Inc., where he had previously served as Vice-President, Sales & Marketing. PulseVet and Sanuwave are biotechnology companies involved in the commercialization and utilization of high energy, focused sound waves to repair and regenerate bone, tendon, ligament, muscle, skin and other soft tissue.
As Director of Global Marketing with CryoLife, he spearheaded the launch of BioGlue® Surgical Adhesive in 2001. BioGlue is a life-saving product now recognized as the leading surgical adhesive in worldwide clinical use for indications in cardiovascular, neurological and soft tissue surgeries.
He was awarded multiple ‘Sales Representative of the Year’ and ‘Top Producer’ honors during his early post-Navy medical/biotechnology sales positions.
Mr. Lock holds an engineering degree from Vanderbilt University, which he attended on a Navy ROTC scholarship. He served in the U.S. Navy with distinction for 8 years as a submarine officer and nuclear engineer.
Mr. Lock also serves as President on the Board of Directors for Atlanta Young Singers of Callanwolde, a non-profit organization and Atlanta’s premier choir for children and youth.
